Palisades Park, Savanna, IL -- We took a family day and went to the Palisades State Park near Savanna, IL. It's a great spot next to the Mississippi River. In fact, Jake is enjoying the mighty Mississippi above. Although the park was great, this little location is actually inside of the decommissioned army depot just a few miles down the road. It's a wonderful site for wildlife, including deer and some bid ol' birds. In case you didn't know, with dalmatians, there's only one speed -- full throttle!
